Poe was a waste of an early pick much like Tyson Jackson. Carr should have been locked up long before he hit the market. Bowe is almost elite and will not play for pennies on the dollar like Hunt and Pioli would like and Pioli gave way to much to Cassel. All that money for a guy who can't throw an accurate pass any longer than 10 to 15 yards. Until I see otherwise Baldwin was a reach. Pioli has passed on guys who have become stars to draft players who do not have that potential. Pioli is a bad judge of talent and Hunt is a cheap ass. And as long as we are a run first team in a pass happy league we will never be able to compete against good teams.

Poe was a waste of a pick? Have you considered stand up comedy?

Again, Carr wanted to play for Dallas.

Cassel was a fuck up. Everybody can agree to this.

You must loved the shit out of Carl Peterson. Trading draft picks for players. Signing big time free agents to big contracts even if they didnt fit the scheme.

No. It was time for Carl to go. But it is funny how you blame our loss on missing 2 of Carls guys. Piolis guys couldnt step up for 1 game?

I give more credit to Herm than Carl for drafting them. Either way, to blame Pioli is stupid.

This dude has been crying since Carl left. Just clamoring for moves that Carl would do without hesitation every year holding this franchise back for 20 years.

Shoulda payed big money to Carr. Shoulda signed Mario Williams. Shoulda traded every draft pick in the next 10 years for RGIII.

Of course go all out to get good! It worked so well for his home boy Carl Peterson!!! How many Super Bowls did Vermiel win us? Its a full proof plan! Who cares that we wouldn't have a first round pick in this decade, we would have a QB!

Yeah we should have paid Carr... cause Routt sure as hell got beat like a gov't mule today. In a pass happy league it is not a bad idea to have 2 good to great CB's...not 1 good one (Flowers) one known to be average at best(Routt)(and thats being generous) and a bunch of nobody's with a deer in the headlight look. Atlanta proved today that we are not equipped to hang with the real playoff caliber teams. Granted we were missing some defensive starters...however those starters would not have made enough of a difference to win this game.

Lets see this long list of teams who pay their #2 CB more than the #1, the way some people around here talk it must be pretty common.

you cant get throught to these guys Cross. they are blinded by their undying love for scott pioli. kc has gone longer than any other nfl team without trying to draft a franchise QB in the 1st round. they havent won a SB in my lifetime either. they are terrible a drafting dlinemen. Pioli doesnt want to go after a big hire coach either because tha coach might know more about football than him and it would create onflict for the dictator himself. he wants a yes sir bitch and thats what he is going to hire. but you have to give him credit he likes taking guys 15 spots too early in 1st rounds and take 6 and 7th round talent in 2 and 3.

Its all Pioli's fault we have been the team who went the longest without a first round pick. Super pissed he passed on Mark Sanchez.

Also what big hire coach are we supposed to hire? Pretty good chance all big hires are either already hired, or retired.

Do you not get that the NFL is changing drastically right before our eyes? wasnt last year the first time in history with 3 5,000 yd passers? So why not be ahead of the game and be the first to fork out money in the secondary instead of being followers?

You offer them enough money to come out of retirement.

One of the biggest knocks on Crennel was his age(other than his record, which is common among 1st time HC's, especially for the Browns[see Bill Billichick]).

How many HC's have won the SB coming out of retirement? I'm willing to bet it doesn't come close to the # as HC's with their second teams.

You can admit that Julio Jones is a beast.

Every single move he wants us to do is exactly how Carl Peterson handled business. Yet we are the ones who want to be mediocre?

They act like this team is full of scrubs. They cant seem to grasp the fact that Hali, Flowers, Lewis, and Brown were out. They cant grasp that we dont like Cassel. They cant grasp Jackson isnt a pass rusher. They cant grasp the Falcons are a playoff team. They cant grasp Carr wanted to play for Dallas.

I never said we wer full of scrubs. I understand that we had injuries, however that not an excuse for the ENTIRE defense to pull a no show. The Falcons never had to punt until they had clearly won the game. If we fielded no defense at all it would have been the same outcome. I do believe that the Falcons are a playoff team, but don't tell me that we are to when we get flatout DOMINATED. And Carr to Dallas would have NEVER been an issue had Pioli signed him before he became a FA like any good GM would have. And Carr himself in a radio interview said he would have resigned had Pioli done just that.

No team that is missing by far their best pass rusher or two of the four starting DB's should ever get shredded by two of the top WR's or one of the best TE's in the game.

This game was a shootout. We were right there with them at halftime. We came out, missed a field goal, got down even more and Cassel couldnt lead us back because he is, and has always been dogshit.

Atlantas defense wasnt great either. Atlanta had all their key starters though.

Atlanta also has one of the best DC's in the game, to go with all his starters on defense.

Two picks, a forced fumble and fumble recovery and holding the" potent" Chiefs O to 7 pts in the 2nd half( and 7 meaningless points in the final seconds of a blowout loss at that) sounds like a pretty good job by Atlanta's D to me.

The fumble and one of the interceptions were directly because of Cassel. The one of the few plays where Cassel was pressured, he gets hit and loses the ball at his own 10 yard line. The int was thrown across the field right to the linebacker. For the most part though, we picked apart their defense when we didnt do stupid shit.
