#Chiefs have signed veteran OT Ray Willis - 26 NFL starts and was most recently with the Jets. Were looking to add T after Tony Ugoh retired

Shit you beat me to it. Glad to see Hemingway just has a slight groin injury. Hopefully he'll be ready for the preseason games.

When Chiefs first-round NT Dontari Poe reported to camp, he found someone in front of him. Anthony Toribo was the starter ahead of Poe, a designation likely used as a motivation tactic by head coach Romeo Crennel, who is quite aware of Poe’s college reputation of not always playing to his talent level and athleticism. But it’s not the entire story, either. Toribo has impressed Crennel with his technique and just might carve out a defined role in the defensive rotation, even after Poe beats him out for a starting spot eventually.

Pretty awesome to see Torbio coming around. If he can take his improving technique and translate it to the field, he'll be getting quite a few looks this season. It'll also push Poe to play harder for playing time. Competition is a great thing, which is something Pioli has talked about in the past....Except at the QB position.

Haven't heard much about Powe, but it sounded like he was coming around too earlier this year.

I sure hope we keep Powe.. He definately has the athletic ability to play DE. He could possiby even be a Haloti Ngata type at that DE position. Him and Poe will make up a MASSIVE D-line. They both have great athletic ability.

Practicing on the game field tonight. Charles and Moeaki not suiting up. Berry will play a limited amount.

@TheFilmRoom Last 12 years 2 top 5 offenses have won SB, 5 top 10 offenses have won. Same span 5 top 5 defenses have won, 8 top 10 defenses have won SB

Seems like better defenses are more likely to win the super bowl than better offenses..

Cassel taking a shot at Haley?

"The offseason, having Daboll, and working with Baldwin after practice, what did that mean for you in particular?

CASSEL: "I think it's great. I think it's the first time that I've been here over the last four years that we've had one voice in the offensive room, which is coach Daboll. It's helpful, because when you hear one voice and you understand what he's thinking and how he wants something read or how he wants to conceptualize something against a certain defense."

"We're on the same page and there's no second guessing, there's no 'Oh, I thought this.' That's good for me because moving forward we can create some consistency."

Jason Madson ‏@Jason_Madson
OLBs are struggling to cover Boss in drills.

Johnny Coltrane ‏@Chief_Wildcat
So far, Kevin Boss has junked all of the linebackers trying to block him.

@kentbabb #Stanzi needs to worry about losing the #3 to Mr. Trick Shot who is all deep accuracy. Stanzi has NEVER been accurate

Cassel puts a beauty in the corner over BFlow to Breaston. Then follows up with another corner shot to DMC.

Breaston catches a TD over Flowers....thanks to a push-off. Routt also stayed on top of Baldwin, knocked it away.

Watching Justin Houston run pass coverage drills, and Im pretty impressed how well he can stick with it through the whistle. #Chiefs

Breaston takes a slant route but Flowers denies him and breaks it out. Next play, Wylie with a diving grab in end zone, ?able if feet were n

#Chiefs sometimes the back shoulder throw is just unfair. Cassel to Baldwin for six vs Flowers

So either our defense got real bad, or Cassel got real good. Stanzi is looking real bad, and Quinn is somewhere in the middle right now...

I really like what Pioli has brought it, and what Daboll is doing. Usually the defense is ahead of the offense at this time too, even in years where you have the same OC and same scheme.

Cassel finds Baldwins outstretched hands in the back of the end zone, and he drags his feet for 6. Cassel ran up to Baldwin for the high 5

This can't be right, because Chiefs09 thinks Baldwin is awful and a waste of a first round draft pick.

Stanzi City Chiefs ‏@StanziCity
Wylie with a great grab and td from quinn. Wylie forced his way for that score.

Lance Twidwell ‏@Lance_THESPOKEN
Was that Wiley or Welker?? Great stab at the ball for a td

osh Vernier ‏@JoshVernier
#Chiefs Quinn to Wylie for six from a few yards out. Thrown into a crowd, but nice pass/catch.
