I hope the Chiefs do get Luck now. We are still stacked and young. Let the young guys play and get experience. Next year we have another great draft of talent and hopefully a true young franchise QB. Money to spend on free agents. Assuming everyone stays healthy next year we are a playoff team. But right now Charles is/was our offense, and Berry was a major reason our D was good last year. To to mention Moeaki then Siller would would probably be starting also.

I had high hopes going in, mainly because we had pretty much everyone coming back and I thought Baldwin would be the difference on offense.. but we haven't seen him yet and it doesn't even matter now. Shit just put Gaither on the IR so we have him ready to go next year too.

I completely agree! U couldn't script a scary movie better than whats happened to the Chiefs this year on the injury front. But if we do get Luck, he needs to sit a year! thats the biggest mistake you can make with a young QB. However, it seems to working ok for Cam Newton right now.

Cam has thrown for like 850 yards already. He is 0-2 though.

Its not his fault he is losing.. They are expecting him to throw over 40 times a game.. I dont care who it is, its tough to win with no run game.

My question is what if we don't have a chance at Luck? What then? Keep Cassel and put talent all around him so he can exceed? Take a shot at a lesser QB coming out? Or hit FA and get the best available. Honestly if we keep playing this way it's coming down between the Chiefs, Seahawks, and Colts for Luck. But we are not a lock. And I wouldn't want to be to be honest. Just curious on everyones opinion.

You also have Barkley and Jones going top 10. It's a good year to be in need of QB and be as bad as KC is.

For once we are together on this one. You liked Stafford and Matt Ryan and I was never sold on either 1 of them. But I'm sold on Luck and we need to do whatever we can to get him. Even if it means trading a 1st in 13. I did like Bradford though when he came out. His accuracy is better than I could have imagined. I heard some guy lable Luck as the best prospect to ever come out in NFL history. Do u think Luck is a better prospect than Manning was? Seems like a stretch, but i think hes real good.

Manning's hype as a QB coming out was largely fueled by who his father was. Luck was coached by a current NFL coach and is obviously highly intelligent going to Stanford. That being said, I still think Manning was a better prospect coming out of the SEC. I don't know how there was any debate about him or Ryan Leaf going #1.

Chiefs have the toughest schedule out of the 3. The only games we even have a chance in are against the Colts, and the 2 against Denver. Vikings will run over our ass as will Oakland. I think theres a good chance Whitehurst takes over for Jackson in Seattle after a while and he cant be any worse than Jackson. Theyll win a few games im sure. Peyton may come back for the Colts. But after Kerry gets completely confident in that offense, im positive theyre gonna win some games.

Honestly, Andrew Luck will be better than Peyton. He's got the arm Peyton has. Only difference between the 2 is that Luck is pretty mobile, unlike Peyton.

Foles is a Stanzi clone. Even the haircut. Nothing special about him in my opinion.
