same can be said for many backs. E. Smith probably isnt in the top 5 of all time but is 1st in yds because of the best oline in history. Priest also benefited from the same line as Larry

I agree, but what did he do without the same line as Larry? Many disagree with me on Emmitt too, but I feel he had holes you could drive a truck through his whole career and when he did get touched he went down. Most of the glamour positions are made great by their lines. Sanders, Peyton, and O.J. are a few exceptions for RB.

I loved to watch Barry Sanders. He always had a shitty line. I had hoped KC would make a run at him when he retired. But he was done.

Why did Larry Johnson get in trouble for using the word 'faggot'. Isn't that just like the 'n' word for black people.....you're aloud to say it if it applies to you?

Barry was never one of my favs, but he sure was exciting to watch. I wonder what he would have done with emmitts line

I wonder what he would have done with our line at that time?

Priest also ran behind Roaf, Waters, Weigmann, Shields, and Tait/whoever

Stephen fucking Hawking could bust 20+ yard runs behind that line...

Both were great. I can easily see why people like Holmes more. As a true runner I'd take LJ any day. Holmes was more well rounded though.

I would take Holmes hands down. Priest was the man lol. Still wish we could have put together an average defense together the years we had Priest, Trent, Gonzales. Could've been scary.

I still would take Priest any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Priest was by far a better threat out of the backfield and could keep a QB upright. Not to mention, Holmes was a TD machine in the red zone! Larry hasnt come close to the TDs or career yards of Holmes. He will never catch Priest in the TD department, I dont think he catches him in rushing yards, he damn sure will not catch him in recieving yards either. Larry essentially had 2 star studed years. Priest gave the Chiefs 4. 2004 was cut short, but he still went for 900 yards and 14 TDs in 9 games. Priest was just a better back!
