Other teams without an elite QB:

Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins.

By my count, we're lucky to have Cassel. I guess those teams have a bunch of fans as well that are ok with mediocrity. Or maybe it's just the fact that the basic definition of 'elite' means that there are not enough of them to go around. But who knows? Maybe they all draft the greatest QB of all time this year!

Only one team you just listed has a snowballs chance in hell of making the SB. You can add us to that list of teams with ZERO chance of making the SB next year. But after Pioli sees what Cassel truly is when he plays real D's he'll find us a good one. He is an overall very good evaluater of talent. His only 2 big misses are Cassel and Jackson. He'll fix both those mistakes after this year. 2012 will be a good year for KC.

Okay man, Cassel is a game manager. With a good defense that is all we need to have. He just comes out makes the smart throws keeps the chains movin, take a shot downfield here and there, let the defense stop the other team and hold them to less points than us. If your saying Cassel is incapable of doing that Trent Dilfer is proof that you are wrong. They had a great defense and a mediocre offense and won a super bowl. Our defense is going to be that good with a couple of pieces here and there. We have an above average offense. With another reciever beside Bowe that teams have to pay attention too, we will score allot more points because teams cant gear up to just stop bowe and the run game. They will have to play defense with less guys in the box.

Cassel is not even close to being as bad as you think he is. Just ask Bill Belechik, the guy loves Cassel. Cassel did not lose that game against the Ravens. Our lack of true weapons to stretch the defense out lost us that game. They blitzed their balls off because they could get away with it against us.

Too say that Tyson Jackson is a bust is wrong. We said the same about Dorsey. Most dlineman take a few years to really grasp the NFL game. Sure you get a few studs here and there but its rare.

It's fairly safe to say that Tyson Jackson is a colossal bust at this point. At best he has an outside chance of becoming a second rate starter. I hope I'm wrong, but he's only shown flashes of being worth a first round pick on maybe 10 plays in his career. Pathetic for a guy who has been paid well over $30 million in two years.

Next year is the year DL players like him typically break out.

I hope you are not being sarcastic on Jackson thucker. We might actually agree on one bust here. And After next year I will still welcome you on to the get rid of Cassel bandwagon too. Grbac was better than Cassel.
